Graduate student entrance examination re-examination system in China has attracted many attentions of the society from all walks of life. Many recruit units have been changing constantly in form, content and mode of graduate re-examination. Analysis and research on institution of re-examination from institutional level have contributed to explore the basic law of development of this institution, to carry out work on re-examination more equitably and effectively when the universities take the admissions, to the reform and innovation of re-examination system, and to select high-quality and innovative talents more effectively who conform to the needs of state, society and universities.The dissertation consists of introduction, text and epilogue. The introduction presents the discussions of the thesis, research status, research methods and research framework of this article. The text has four sections. Section I:it contains the definition of the core concept and the interpretation of basic theory, in which the master graduate student, graduate entrance examination and re-examination of master are defined, and theoretical basis of this study which consists of innovation in system theory and structural interview theory are illustrated. Section Ⅱ:it expounds the development history and existing characteristics of graduate student entrance examination re-examination system in our country, which has undergone three development phases: exploratory stage (1978-1983), the stable stage (1984-2002) and development stage (2003-present).The current re-examination system presents the following characteristics: comprehensive and intuitive, partialness and innovative, diversity and flexibility and stability and normative. Section III:it has a summary on the existing problems and reasons in the second interview link of postgraduate entrance examination by means of questionnaire survey. When analyzing the causes of these issues by means of the institutional analysis, we deem the problem is that the design of institution lacks reason, the implementation of institution lacks strength, and the reformation of institution contains sluggishness. Section Ⅳ:it proposes some suggestions and countermeasures to make a reform of postgraduate entrance examination re-examination system in China, which involves strengthening the construction of re-examination system, clearing the function of the exam, establishing fair program of the re-examination, and improving the re-examination evaluation system. The epilogue makes a summary of the paper research. The reform of the system of postgraduate entrance examination re-examination involves several aspects, but as a kind of institution, it is helpful to find and correct the problems in practice from institutional level. The paper has carried a preliminary discussion on the graduate student re-examination system which based on the empirical survey and study. When making a construction of institution, a scientific, comprehensive, systematic and feasible system should be designed. The contents of institution should involve punishment norms to constraint the behavior, and establishing and perfecting the self-discipline mechanism within the university and industry supervision mechanism will help to master graduate student entrance examination e-examination system reform and innovation.
