A Study On The Reform Of The Master’s Graduate Entrance Examination System In China

After30years of reform and opening up,graduate education in China has madebrilliant achievements,the scale of graduate students expand gradually,from19781to201047thousand million people,recruit a total of and training in various graduatenearly3500000people for the country.In recent years,due to the high school,collegeenrollment expansion,mobilize the enthusiasm of Youth study,their higher educationexpectations in lifting.In the same time,the number of graduates has increased year byyear.So the employment pressure has increased,make a considerable number of studentsto pursure a higher level of Postgraduate Education,heat of postgraduate entrance examquickly became one of the hot issues in Higher Education.Along with our country higher education further expansion and the difficultemployment of college students problem intensifies and the establishment of socialistmarket economic system, postgraduate education appeared to span type develops,enrollment grew rapidly, then how in enrollment while ensuring its poor quality declinehas become the question we should first consider, should be taken seriously, becausestudents quality directly will affect the quality of postgraduate training. Master graduatestudent entrance examination enrollment as good quality and high quality studentsenrolled in one of the important means, is the graduate enrollment and talent selection inthe first pass, is directly related to the quality of postgraduate training.With the development of society and economy, state of the graduate entranceexamination system although was continuously reform and perfect, from the initialattempt to gradually standard, but as a participated in the graduate entrance examinationfor graduate students, the author realized that there still exist some problems. This paperis through reviewing1978restoration of graduate students enrollment in our countrysince the graduate entrance examination system in the development process, by usingthe method of questionnaire analysis of current postgraduate entrance examination inthe problem of existence, comparing and drawing lessons from the successfulexperience of the United States, combined with the actual situation of our country, thepaper tries to put forward the reform of China’s current master graduate entranceexamination suggestion, to promote our country healthy development of postgraduateeducation.
