The rise of Massive open online courses caused a storm in the field of education, it has bring strong impact for higher education, bring challenges and opportunities for higher education. Managers, builders and learners in higher education courses are subject to certain influence. This paper studies the main content that MOOC curriculum development present situation, including the main platform, platform, characteristics of the courses, learners in the learning process problems, etc., and what are the implications and the revelation in Chinese higher education.The paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter Ⅰ:Introduced the research background, the purpose and significance, the research content of this paper and the present situation.Chapter Ⅱ:First, briefly described the basic features and the basic situation of mainstream massive open online course platform, focusing on three major programs provide a platform for analysis, examination and evaluation of the platform in the form of learning to grasp the rhythm, business models and platforms do learning support in-depth analysis in order to understand their development status of the three platforms.Chapter Ⅲ:Selected some courses from three typical course instances platforms as the research sample, using content analysis and case analysis, analyzed the specific course as an example, analyzes the builders of course orientation and requirements, courses, teachers and teaching assistants, curriculum resource types and their presentation, organization, implementation and operation fees, analyzed a typical example of a curriculum content resources and course evaluation appraisal way in-depth.Chapter Ⅳ:Using the questionnaire star platform to do questionnaire survey for curriculum user, to survey the user’s personal basic situation, education career, curriculum participation motivation and course of participation, participation, experience and personal learning samples, etc., at the same time to analyze the survey data, and combining the course BBS part in learners’ individual learning experience, combining the qualitative and quantitative analysis of course learners.Chapter Ⅴ:Based on the above analysis of the massive open online courses platform, typical examples and curriculum user, author put forward the influence of the enlightenment of MOOC for our country’s higher education from three aspects, respectively from the higher education administrators in higher education, higher education curriculum builders and higher education learners. Chapter vi:Summarized the whole paper, reflected the lack of research and put forward to be improved and the future prospect.
