Social interaction is essential in the process of human socialization and society formation. Most needs of human are acquired through interpersonal interactions. Healthy social interaction helps human development physically and psychologically leading to a happy life. Conversely, inner needs of human may not be satisfied, and people would feel being isolated. Thus, good interactions are important for the social freshmen to be further socialized and successful. However, the current education system in our nation is examination-oriented, and this system ignores the development of social skills in the juvenile. This education system also does not give necessary guidance to students who are experiencing more and more complicated social interactions in colleges. As a result, some college students are at a loss in their social lives.Here, we analyzed the cause of demands in college students’ social lives with in-depth interviews of6students and relative principles in sociology. College students are at a loss in their social life in different degrees, and wish to improve their social skills. We created group activities by reconstructions, and encouraged students to share their puzzles and psychological barriers in social lives. Through group activities, we exploited the students’ potential, and improved their self-awareness, communication skills, confidence, and abilities to keep calmness under pressure. We also provided lessons in training social etiquettes and skills of social interactions and communication. With these activities, we hope to improve students’ social skills and abilities to integrate into campus lives and society.Based on the study, we hope that team activities could function as an approach to guide students’ social interactions and improve their social skills. We also hope that group activities could provide a beneficial reference for our colleagues in their similar practices.
