Since ancient times,China is a multi-ethnic country.Ethnic minorities and Han lived together.Most ethnic minorities live in mountainous areas or rural areas with unenlightened natural environment,poortraffic conditions,laggingeducation level and backward economic development.With the process of national integration speeding up,many ethnic minority students leave their hometown,come to minority and Han mixed universities.However,due to the huge differences in traditional culture,language,habits,values between ethnic minority students and Han students,their interactions were limited.In addition,some ethnic minority students are introverted and low self-esteem,which also makes them encountered greater difficulties in the interpersonal communication and affect on their learning,life,employment and other aspects of development.It can be seen that interpersonal problems are the plight of many minority college students.In order to understand the overall situation of interpersonal ability of minority college students,the researcher measure the interpersonal abilitis of 140 ethnic minority college students and analyze and discuss the performance and influencing factors of interpersonal ability of minority college students.Under the premise of clarifying the needs of minority college students,this paper focuses on the promotion of interpersonal ability of ethnic minority college students.Thenthe researcher designed specific group social work plan for practical intervention on the basis of empowerment theory,group dynamics theory and self-identity theory.Based on the evaluation results of the group activities,it is found that the interpersonal ability of ethnic minority college students has been improved obviously,and the work program of the group is effective.
