Social Work A Good Approach For Promoting Students’ Intimacy Communication Ability

In recent years, due to the disabled intimacy communication ability, various kinds of vicious incidents have unexpectedly emerged. Some horrible multiple murder of a family, student-dormitory hurt or murder, poisoning events in universities are only some typical and terrible cases for the above issues. Research results clearly showed that such sad incidents were due to improper handling of interpersonal relationships, hence there should be the urgent needs for research on enable college students’ intimacy communication abilities. Interpersonal intimacy ability is the key factor for cope with interpersonal relationship. In this study, the author explores a new approach for promoting college students’ interpersonal intimacy abilities, and enable them to set up their fundamental interpersonal relationship. Beside the social work intervention approach, in this research, some major social theories, social ecological systematical theories, as well as some psychological measurement and survey method, interview method, experimental method have also been frequently used by the author.This study works on mainly three aspects aiming at improving interpersonal intimacy ability as follows. First of all, carrying out questionnaires to describe college students’ interpersonal intimacy ability about development of contemporary, and to analyze the interpersonal trust, social distress, alienation and other related factors; Second, improving college students’ interpersonal intimacy ability in process, the author combines the analysis of the micro social casework and group social work social work; Third, reflecting and summing up the advantages and limitations in the social work that improves students’ ability, and giving professional advice, putting forward feasible strategies. Throughout the researches on interpersonal intimacy ability, most are more descriptive study on the relationship between classes than practical operation type; and most were conducted from the psychological perspective to explore interpersonal relationship without involving specific interpersonal intimacy ability. As a new trial exploration, this study attempts to start from the professional perspective.Social work values "person in situation", the comprehensive utilization of all aspects of social ecological system of environmental resources, and the access to social resources to help clients achieve a new balance about new "person- environment- society". Therefore, solving the relationship issues still has to be placed under specific circumstances, thus the client could experience and perceive. To help ease interpersonal anxiety and depression and reduce the interpersonal conflict, the author suggests using the theory of the relationship between human behavior and the social environment, family structure, rendering social ecological system, in theory social support, social system theory, cognitive theory, and selection of rational emotive therapy model. At the same time, it is advisable to combine with the group social work intervention, to inspire members find its problems and shortcomings through specific targeted training activities, consciously learning experience and skills of others in all kinds of interaction, promoting interpersonal difficulties of college students interpersonal intimacy ability, solving their conflict. In order to overcome their own, help people to help themselves, and promote the growth of members, the social workers and the members are expected to sum up the sublimation of moving target group sharing; in order to realize comprehensive personal growth, the members’ cognitive structure, patterns of behavior, emotional tendency are expected to improve..All in all, this study aimed the new approach of intervening measures in social work, for promoting college students’ intimacy communication ability. For this purpose, the some micro cases and group activities, and analyzing as well as understanding the interpersonal intimacy ability development of our current college students, the author probes into elated factors(such as alienation, interpersonal trust, social distress and strive to build "), and strives to build a interacted platform between” students and parents school- community" platform to promote students’ interpersonal intimacy ability.
