Research background:The higher education in China has increased enrollment since1999. As the numbers of students keep increasing, Chinese higher education has stepped into an era of public education, which produces independent colleges in the new educational background. By2009, the number of independent college is2,380,000, making it an inseparable part of higher education. The independent colleges have thus been the social focus like that in any other colleges. Constructing a scientific framework of vocational counseling is of great significance in addressing the employment problem with graduates from independent colleges. This paper, based on Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Dongfang College,analysis of independent college in Hebei Province, the current employment situation.Research purpose and meaning:Starting with the connotation of the vocational counseling system of the independent colleges, it proposes how to build the system after analyzing the features of vocational counseling in the independent colleges, aiming at helping the independent colleges to improve the counseling efficiency to achieve a full employment, and promoting the development and progress in education and administration of independent colleges. Meanwhile it would be a great honor if the research accomplishment could be referential to the counseling counterparts.Methodology:Literature survey, questionnaire survey, interviewing surveyResearch contents:In this study, interviews were carried out by7employment guidance staff of4independent colleges in Hebei province, from the employment guidance institutions, employment guidance, employment guidance, setting, staffing, employment guidance course offering employment service five aspects, summarizes the current status of the independent college employment guidance. On this basis, through the questionnaire analysis of employment characteristics of1283students of the independent college; these students come from the countryside and township, the main access to employment information from the school, during the period of school for the professional study of the employment situation is not allowed to grasp, and the high expectations of employment. Problems existing in the independent colleges in Hebei province should be based on students employment guidance, employment characteristics as a starting point, according to concrete problems, propose solutions.Result and discussion:Independent college employment guidance idea is backward, imperfect organization, professional level is not high, management and service co.. In view of the importance of career guidance to the development of independent college, this paper puts forward some reasonable suggestions on how to improve the independent college employment guidance level:from the perspective of the existing student status and employment problem in the work, improve working status--Based on "social demand, update the traditional employment concept, reasonable positioning" as the premise, further rationalize the set employment guidance mechanism, establish " college-secondary school-class" three levels of organization and management model; carry out various training in job teachers, improve their professional standards, to ensure the scientific contents of employment guidance and operability; starting from the entrance, the combination of employment demand characteristics of students at different learning stages, to college students employment guidance class as the carrier, carry out employment education, really make the employment guidance through the whole college students; to strengthen the construction of the employment market system, accelerate the employment information platform construction, make full use of social human resource market and the network platform, expand the employment channels, to provide fast, efficient service for the independent college students employment.Conclusion:The existence of the employment guidance in Independent College in Hebei Province, to improve the level of employment guidance, must from the employment concept, organization, team building, the whole process of education and service contents and other aspects of perfection and improvement.
