In the wake of more than ten-year of development, independent collegeshave provided more students with the opportunities of accepting highereducation. However, as the number of graduates increases, employment problemsamong them appear gradually. Although they have tried hard to improve theirguidance on students’ employment, independent colleges are relatively lackof statistic research in this field. Meanwhile, there is still room forimprovement of its systematicness, arrangement, pertinence and actual effect.With the integration of research papers, telephone interviews, theorieslinking with practice, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,thisthesis studies the construction of employment guidance system for graduatesin independent colleges on the basis of research and analysis through puttingforward problems, analyzing the problems and solving the problems.Beginning with the result analysis of telephone interviews andquestionnaire survey of employment guidance for independent colleges amongAnhui Province, this thesis analyzes the feature of enrollment, employmentrequirement, application intention and the current situation of employmentguidance for independent colleges, which provides evidence and materials forthe construction of employment guidance system for graduates in independentcolleges. At the same time, with the comparison of employment guidance in highschools in some foreign countries, for example America, British and Japan,employment guidance pattern is constructed aiming at the employment problemsamong independent college graduates on the basis of drawing lessons fromexperiences abroad in connecting with the results of telephone interviews andquestionnaires.The employment guidance system mentioned in this thesis includes: the aimof centering on cultivating career development abilities; the pattern ofwhole-course supervision, entire-personnel participation, specialization anddiversification; the system covering the content of “the completeestablishment of construction, the practically innovative course system, thecompletely integrated service system, the professionally normative personnelsystem and continuously effective evaluation system”. Thesis is only apreliminary attempt in the standardization of employment guidance forindependent colleges. Many of the problems referred to here are relativelysuperficial, which need further check and innovation through practice in thefuture.
