The cultural industry is a sunrise industry in the21st century, which has great potential for development. The core power for the development of cultural industry is professionals, and universities and colleges are the hotbed of talent cultivation. In recent years, universities and colleges which set up the specialty of the cultural industry mushroomed across the country. But most of them don’t have a sound training model. There are some shortcomings and deficiencies. However, in the American and European countries, cultural industry has occupied an indispensable position in the national economy. Britain is a country with a high level of development of the cultural industry, whose professionals training system is outstanding. There is a large significance in study British experience, which will undoubtedly help to improve the exploration of domestic cultural industry development and the professionals training model. Fostering of culture industry professionals is the result of combined effect of universities, government and social organizations. Thus in the comparative study of Sino-British university training model of cultural industry, it is necessary to do the job from macro to micro, setting the development of Sino-British cultural industries as a starting point, and the contradistinction of Sino-British university training model of cultural industry professionals foothold. By unraveling, analysis deeply, we can find the most valuable thing that we can learn from British. Then, a further study about the conditions of China universities’training mode of cultural industry professionals was made. By analyzing the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, we can dialectically absorb the successful experience of the British model. In the end, concludes the paper with proposed measures to promote the training mode of cultural industry professionals of China universities and colleges.
