Taekwondo derives from Korea, and Taekwondo is the most popular wrestle skill. Like traditional martial arts in China, Taekwondo not only has the function of body building, but also a modern competitive sport combined recreation with competition. Taekwondo has a history of50years, and its influence has spread all over the world. Taekwondo was first introduced to China in1995, as its similarities between Chinese traditional martial arts in body building, propriety, recreation and nature-cultivation, it has a rapid develop and was deeply loved by Chinese medium students, which caused a great fervor of Taekwondo learning, and now in China, Taekwondo training is very hot.But as the culture differences between the two countries, there are many problems in Taekwondo developing among medium students in China. These problems have definitely hindered Taekwondo’s further development and generalization. By comparing Taekwondo’s development situation in Korea with its state-of-the-art in China, finding out the problems and dilemmas has a important realistic value and significant for Taekwondo’s development.The article uses documentary method, interviewing method, questionnaire method, mathematical method and so on. at the basic of Chinese and Korean Taekwondo research status, the article chooses6Chinese middle schools which are Mingde middle school, Dizhi middle school, Xiangfu middle school, Ningxiang NO.1middle school, Helong sports school and Hunan province sports school, and6Korean middle schools which are Quanbei sports middle and high school, Datian sports middle and high school, Taicheng high school, Hancheng high school, Guanyue high school, Songlin high school as the objects of study, and select50Taekwondo students and2Taekwondo teachers as the respondents in each school. By contrastive analysis of the overall situation of Taekwondo, the perceive of students to Taekwondo, the teachers, courts, leaders’attention between the two countries, finding out the existing problems in Taekwondo development in China that different from Korea.Aiming at the existing problems and differences, and combining with the experience Taekwondo developing in Korea, the article raised: reinforce the building of teaching goats, teaching efficiencies, teaching evaluations, teaching contents in Taekwondo curriculums. Reinforce the cultivation of students’cognitive level and hobbies and interest. Increase curricula expenditure and pay attention to the building of Taekwondo culture, improve the status of Taekwondo in school physical education, promote the building of Taekwondo clubs. Else, to reinforce media broadcast and improve China and Korea exchange and cooperation to promote the development of Taekwondo in Chinese medium schools.
