With the development of science and technology and innovation, all aspects of people’slives have undergone unprecedented change, and education is no exception. Nowadays,students are no longer satisfied with the traditional teaching model, contemporary learners aremore willing to use computers, mobile phones, multimedia teaching resources to learn newknowledge and understand new theory, which has brought new challenges and opportunitiesfor the education sector. With the field of applied micro-video continues to expand, more andmore educators began to focus on how to used the micro-video as an educational resource inthe fields of education, research and application design and development is now micro-videoteaching resources, and it has become the education frontier problem of informationtechnology.How to make use of modern information technology to optimize classroom teaching,curriculum and teaching has been a focus among computer professional scholars. Today whatare the problems of high school English subjects? How to make use of micro-video tooptimize teaching effectiveness? Micro Video can stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning?Micro Video for the English discipline of listening, speaking, reading and writing four aspectswhich effect is more pronounced? In order to answer these questions require education,psychology, English and other subjects’ scholars to work together.The thesis states the relevant definitions and theoretical basis of micro-video, and thendescribes the process of making micro-video teaching resources and comparative analysis ofthe micro-video production tools. And then use Adobe Captivate produce micro-videoteaching resources based on "A high school English" develop micro-video content. Choosestudents in De Cai high school of Fushun City as experimental subjects, use literatureresearch, action research, written surveys, and other interdisciplinary research methods doresearch. Finally, compared and analyzed through the questionnaire on attitudes change andchanges in learner achievement. All in all classroom teaching of high school English based onmicro-video resources has obvious advantages.
