About academic profession’s participation in the governance of colleges anduniversities in our country, the academic community has been more in-depth studyon this issue and the formation of the "problem domain." Research "for the thingitself," the unquestionable importance, but there are also some shortcomings. One ofthe most prominent problem is that the reality of the problem-oriented research oftenlose the attention of academia (researchers groups) itself.Academic profession incolleges and universities to participate in the governance of this issue, thefundamental identity of the researcher as academic profession, to a certain extent, Itstands for all the teachers in colleges and universities.Therefore, researchers arestudying this issue can not be ignored in the study. This group determines the issue atdifferent times, the evolution of the position and vision research methods and otheraspects largely reflects the historical evolution of academic profession to participatein the governance of this issue. This paper, based on academic "problem domain"perspective of academic profession to participate in the governance of the problemare analyzed and explored.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts:The first part analyzes the positions,visions and research methods in1980s ofacademic profession’s participation in the governance of colleges and universities inour country.The second part resolves the positions,visions and research methods in1990sof academic profession’s participation in the governance of colleges and universitiesin our country.The third part analyzes the positions,visions and research methods in newcentury of academic profession’s participation in the governance of colleges anduniversities in our country.The fourth part explores the relationship in depth discussion between the"problem domain" changes and academic profession to participate in the governanceof the reality changing.
