Happiness is always the eternal pursuit of mankind, and also the timeless subject of various scholars keen to study. With the improvement of people’s living standard, people’s pursuit of happiness and eager to make the "happiness" once again caught their attention. Positive psychology is a science to explore happiness. As a significant change in the history of human psychology, the vigorous development of positive psychology has promoted the further development of the research of happiness and people’s great attention. At present the90’s college students is the main part of the students in most universities, who’s happiness is the driving force of social development. Born in the big background of global integration, the information age and the domestic reform and opening up, the90’s college students is not only the beneficiaries of The Times, but also the victims of the special social background. The90’s college students is in the special period in life which with many problems like learning, Interpersonal relationship, marriage, personal growth, employment and so on and they have their own unique features, both of them seriously affects their quality of life. The conditions of college students’ psychological crisis is more involved with social each nerve, and also make the university students’ideological and political education work facing with severe challenges.This research uses scale and short questionnaire with good reliability and validity from two aspects of quantity and quality to get to know the90’s college students’ happiness in one central China normal university undergraduate students in three grades. it tries to analyze the results of the main factors influencing the90’s college students’ happiness according to the designs of different dimensions of scale and questionnaire. At last, using the scientific concepts of positive psychology and the latest research results to put forward to effective measures to promote the90’s college students’ happiness.This research mainly divided into four parts:the first part is introduction. Mainly includes the reason why choice this topic and the research significance, the domestic and foreign related research situation, research purpose and the innovation, all of this is good for the scientific definition for the college students’ happiness and laying a foundation for using the positive psychology to promote college students’ sense of happiness. The second part: the status and characteristics of90’s college students’ happiness. According to the scale and statistical analysis of the questionnaire survey results of90’s, there are following characteristics:(1) They have a good knowledge of happiness, but the happiness is not high.(2)They have high expectations for happiness, but happiness awareness is not strong;(3) Different student groups, their happy feeling is different. At the same time, their characteristics of the happiness are Imbalance orientation, reality orientation, self orientation and spiritual orientation and process orientation. The third part: the influence factors of college students’ happiness. According to the results of scale and questionnaire statistical analysis, according to importance of the factors of90’s college students’ happiness, the influencing factors can be divided into health, value, family, personal, emotional, etc. The fourth part: the basic strategy to improve90’s college students’ happiness. Mainly according to the influencing factors, suggestions respectively put forward from the aspects of school, the students themselves or family.This research using Interdisciplinary research method and it’s innovation is summarizing the characteristics of college students’ happiness, which mainly lies in combining students90’s age background and detail analysis of the scale and the results of the investigation. At the same time, measures are put forward from using conceptions from the scientific concept of positive psychology to promote the90’s students’ happiness. The questions are the samples are not big and concept extraction is not enough, so further research must be put forward.
