Intervention Group Work To Explore The Psychological Stress Of Parents Of Autistic Children

Autistic children’s rehabilitation has been a difficult problem in the world. Autistic children’s rehabilitation is closely related with family and social environment. When caring of autistic children, the parents of autistic children face many difficulties and problems. The study of parents of autistic children in this area is relatively fragmented. In the field of professional social work research system, let alone the parents of autistic children are involved in the system of social work.Through the practice and survey found that there are not only economic pressures and the lack of professional knowledge of rehabilitation education, more important is that parents of autistic children also have great pressure in their hearts. By using the methods of investigation, interview and other research methods to understand the status of parents of autistic children in life and psychological problems and work status of XX Special Education Center, on the basis of resilience perspective and the perspective of the advantages, for parents of children with autism psychological stress problems, lead into group work method of social work in order to relieve the psychological pressure of parents of autistic children and alleviate the difficulties faced by members.By working with a professional approach to solving social psychological pressure on the issue of parents of autistic children, build a mutual system to help parents of autistic children to self-regulate and overcome helplessness pessimistic attitude, promoting the autistic children and their families to integrate into daily social is a significant positive function. So how the autistic children parents psychological pressure situation exactly? What is the reason for the formation of psychological pressure? How to use the involvement of group work method in the process of professional social work method? What kind of role does the group work play in intervention to relieve the psychological pressure of parents of autistic children? The author tries to respond these issues through social work practice. This paper is the author using the internship in Xi’an XX Special Education Center, based on the existing services on parent service mode in special education center, the author put the parents of autistic children as the research object, through the interviews and group work intervention with parents of auti’stic children, according to parents of autistic children psychological pressure, to explore the feasibility of professional social work method in the group work intervention. And through the practice investigation and their own experience, and reflect the group work development strategy in the parents work in XX special education center, with group work intervention can relieve parents of autistic children’s psychological pressure and help them self-regulation psychological and face the reality correctly.
