Practical Research On Group Work To The Relieve Parental Pressure Of Autistic Children’s Mothers ——Take D Organization As An Example

At present,autistic children are a huge group in China,and the number of autistic children ranks first among all mental disabilities.According to the "Report on the Development of China’s Autism Education and Rehabilitation Industry" released in2019,the number of patients with autism spectrum disorders in China has exceeded 10 million,and the number of children with autism spectrum disorders has exceeded 2million.Behind this terrible and shocking data are families with heavy burdens.Influenced by many factors,such as traditional ideas and family structure,mothers often take on the responsibility of caring for children in autistic children’s families.Due to personal irrational beliefs,family relationships,economic pressure and other factors,they are under great parental pressure in the process of caring for children.Under the influence of long-term parental pressure,they will constantly have negative emotions and remain in a negative state for a long time.Therefore,it is very important to actively guide mothers of autistic children to refute their unreasonable beliefs and help them build social support networks,so as to be full of expectations for their children and the future.Because of the opportunity of volunteer service in D organization,the author took the mothers of 24 children in this organization as the investigation object,and through literature research,field observation,questionnaire survey and other methods,it was found that this group was under great parental pressure,which was mainly influenced by the personal characteristics of the clients themselves,irrational beliefs,traditional ideas,weak social attention and imperfect related policies.On this basis,select team members,design team plans and intervene as planned.In this paper,group work is the main intervention method,and ABC theory and social support theory are used as the theoretical support,so as to carry out relevant research on mothers of autistic children with parental pressure,aiming to help them alleviate parental pressure.This study has carried out six social work professional group activities,mainly including three stages:the early stage,the middle stage and the late stage.The group activities are progressive from shallow to deep.At the same time,the eight group members were measured before and after the Parental Stress Scale to visually verify whether the group activity goals were achieved.The author compares the scores of parental pressure of clients before and after the activity,and finds that group work can alleviate the parental pressure of mothers of autistic children to some extent.Finally,based on the summary of the full text,some relevant suggestions are put forward,including the change of personal beliefs,ideas and concepts,the enhancement of propaganda and the improvement of relevant policies,etc.,so as to form a multi-party joint force to help alleviate the parental pressure of this group.There are also deficiencies in this paper,in the process of group work intervention,the professionalism of social workers needs to be improved urgently.In the process of group design and intervention,the personality characteristics of clients should be fully considered to improve the effectiveness of services.At the same time,the intervention time of this group is short,and more in-depth investigation and research are needed to alleviate the stress of mothers of autistic children.
