Any kind of educational philosophy comes from the effects of history and culture.It’s the product of social change. Along with the development of high-tech neology,people’s lives become time and trouble saving. Space in compression (for example, wecan know the flood on TV which happens thousands of miles far away). Time is incompression (It appears a few seconds in TV show which flood keeping for a long time).But the development of human’s lives can not be compressed (such as the growth of ourbody and mind is going in chronological order). The fiercely impact between highcompressibility of high-technology and none compressibility of life causes a big problemof education, especially for the infant education.People translate "Waldorf" into "华德福"in Taiwan. It means that Chinese will behappy with it. In the early twentieth century, after the industrial revolution, Austrianphilosopher and educator Rudolf Steiner had fore case the problem of life. So hecreated Waldorf on the base of Anthropology, Developmental Psychology and Physiology.Waldorf had been created in the same time with Montessori, but it has just beenrecognized. In China, Waldorf is developing very well although it’s in infancy. However,are these so-called Waldorf Kindergarten real ones? What activities do they haveeveryday? After the education reform, China brings in lots of education moderns offoreign countries, but lots of them go bad. I think the important reason is that we can’tgrasp the core concept, the activities becoming apparent and far away from theWaldorf’s. Well, I think it is necessary to study the modern of Waldorf kindergartens.The theme using the methods of literature, by comprehensenive analyses lots oftranslated works, papers and essayist, form a set of education ideas of Waldorf. Usinghistorical analysis, by analyzing the historical background ideas, understand theeducation ideas of Waldorf and analyze the suitable ideas for today. Using theoreticalresearch method, explore the meaning and essence of Waldorf and the use in ActivityPicture by intuition anal inference. The purpose is fighting a way out of education today.Waldorf is a great reference for giving wonderful childhood back to children. It’s the rationale of our infant education revolution. It’s also the education borrowing oftomorrow. The author believes that the concept of Waldorf kindergartens is well worthyfor contemporary education. Kindergarten activities should be based on nationalconditions and the characteristics of the Kindergarten. The main idea of the activities isdeveloping human values. And the activities should be developed around the nature.
