The development of the society is based on education and the development of educationdepends on the development of the teacher. Teacher training plays an important role inimproving the teachers’ teaching level. In the21stcentury, the competition is getting sharper.Countries and nations all over the world pay great attention to teacher training. However,many of the results are not very satisfactory. A decisive factor is the curriculum. Thecurriculum design of teacher training should be based on the trainee teachers’ needs andrelevant professional standards. The National English Training Curriculum provides basis forthe curriculum design of The National Training Program—the project of the replacementof the rural junior high school teachers in2013.This project provides85rural English teachers of Hebei Province with a three-monthtraining which includes lesson taking period, shadow teacher training period and distancelearning period. With a comprehensive literature review on teacher training curriculum designwith trainee teachers’ subjectivity abroad and in China, and based on Subjectivity EducationTheory, Constructivist Curriculum Design Theory and Adult Learning Theory, the author didthe research on teacher training curriculum design with trainee teachers’ subjectivity.Questionnaires, classroom observation, interviews and lesson plans and lesson videos areapplied to collect quantitative and qualitative data. The data analyzed by SPSS18.0showsthat after the implementation of the training syllabus with trainee teachers’ subjectivity, thetrainee teachers’ consciousness of subjectivity was enhanced, their abilities in lesson designand implementation were improved and their research consciousness was cultivated.
