The21stcentury is the era of knowledge economy, as a special group of teachers of this age,their performance and behavior at work will directly affect the management performance ofthe school. After a lot of studies we found that IQ and personality and other important factorsthat affect people’s behavior, but they are not all of them. In china, previous studies havefocused on teacher’s job satisfaction, organizational trust and other factors, but in foreigncountries, there are many studies research on relationship between emotional intelligence andorganizational citizenship behavior. This paper explores the influence on secondary schoolteachers’ emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior under the backgroundof contemporary Chinese culture, and based on the findings provides some targetedmanagement advice to school administrators.This study was on the basis of the relevant literature home and abroad, select somesecondary school teachers from Zaozhuang, Tengzhou area for the study, research therelationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior amongsecondary school teachers.The main steps of the study include: First, research related literature to understand the basisof previous studies, so the hypothesis put forward; Second, select the appropriate scalerandom questionnaire and unified recycling, data will be collected using spss17.0analyzedstatistically,using correlation analysis and regression analysis focuses on analyzing therelationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behaviors ofteachers; Third, put forward the shortcomings of this study and the vision of the future.Through the empirical research in this paper, conclusions are as follows: By analyzing themean and standard deviation, we found that under the condition of the self-assessment,secondary teachers’ emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior isgenerally high; through the related analysis,we found that, there is significant positivelyrelated to secondary school teachers’ emotional intelligence and organizational citizenshipbehavior; through independent sample t-test, whether gender and served as the class teacherhas no effect to teachers’ emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior;through the single factor analysis of variance, teaching experience and age and marital statushave significant impact on teachers’ emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior, title and degree of the influence of emotional intelligence was not significant;through regression analysis, emotional intelligence has significant predict effect to secondaryteachers’ organizational citizenship behavior.
