| In recent years, the frequent occurrence of unexpected events, and there is a rising trend, has attracted the attention of educational circles and society. These incidents not only pose a threat to the normal teaching, management and living order, and keep the image and reputation suffered serious damage. Therefore, in the background of building a harmonious society, how to maintain the stable development of colleges and universities, effectively prevent and solve all kinds of emergencies has become a major issue to be studied.This paper based on the actual situation of our country and the management of emergencies in Colleges and universities, the University of emergency management mechanism as the research object, previous research in academic circles, the public crisis management theory as the instruction, understanding the types, characteristics, causes of emergencies in Colleges and universities on the basis of the system, summarizes existing emergency management mechanism the university emergency problem, and from two aspects of endogenous, exogenous to the restriction factor to carry on the thorough analysis. Based on a comprehensive summary of domestic and foreign university emergency management successful experience, this thesis focuses on the discussion of our colleges and universities to improve the mechanism of emergency management, we should focus on the "prevention early warning mechanism, emergency response mechanism, ex post evaluation in three aspects of recovery mechanism" to start construction.Mainly used the literature research, comprehensive analysis, comparative study, questionnaire survey, this research method.
