Research On The Information Management Of Population And Family Planning

With development of society, facing more and more regulated content of population and family planning departments, the larger quantity of information, the efficiency of services had become more rigorous and should be improved effectively. To achieve this goal, the methodology, tools of information extraction, information aggregation, and more important, the process of information mining must be optimized. In the face of huge population dataset, traditional information management mode, such as manual, information system based Intranet get unsuitable for those modern digital environment. Aiming at this problem, to enhance quality of service, improve convenience to the customers, population and family planning departments have paid more and more attention to IT technology and its update. Currently, combined with actual conditions and characteristics of family planning, how to develop and apply information management system is a still very important issue for many population and family planning departments.As one of most important elements of family planning, information management system becomes also main component in population informatization management. Along with various special software application and modern information architecture implement, informatization level of population and family planning has improved to a certain extent. From a historical perspective, taking LiaoCheng population and family planning department, firstly, the status of its information management is reviewed. And some limitations and existing defects are proposed. Secondly, the features, advantages and constraint factors had been presented. Finally, some suggestions and solutions are proposed to improve the quality of service, enhance informatization level for LiaoCheng population and family planning department.
