Objective:since1999our country has entered the aging society, the population aging process isaccelerating, the internal structure of the elderly is also changing, presenting the "speed","large scale","peak","aged". How to improve the quality of life of the elderly, to extendthe healthy life expectancied has become an urgent problem. while the elderly balanceability is declining, it will be directly affect the ability of independent life for the them, itmay be cause serious falls and induced other diseases. It has confirmed the scientific andreasonable exercise can improve the balance function of the elderly to drop, and the fallprevention plays a role from the research. The static balance ability through the test oftenparticipate in Tai Chi, walking movement of people over the age of70,often in contrastdifferences between these two kinds of motion and not often attend sports elderly staticbalance ability, evaluation of the effect iveness of the two kinds of exercise on improvinghigh age balance ability of elder, analysis merits of two kinds of exercise on improvingbalance ability in the elderly effect for the elderly, scientific choice for their fitness toimprove balance ability to provide the theory basis, to further improve the ability ofanti-aging in the elderly, the elderly can prolong life, has the certain practical significanceto create a "World Health City-age friendly city".Methods:the literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, experimental method andmathematical statistics were used in researching. Experiments by the Chinese academy ofsciences, hefei smart production ability of the human body static balance testing system forover70years old was tested, before the test through questionnaire singling out does notmeet the requirements for the test of old people, a total of survey,200people, singling outdue to the limits of their own physical condition can not complete the testing process of16persons, measured the effective number of184people, including98women,86men, Among them,72people belong to the group at the age of70-74,63people belong to thegroup at the age of75-79, and49people belong to the group over the age of80, in theaspect of project group,57people s belong to the group of tai chi,65people belong to thegroup of fitness walking, and no exercise group has62persons. This study adopted theenvelope area, center of gravity moved trajectory length, energy loss, long trajectory on theX direction, Y direction on the trajectory of long five indexes as evaluation index of humanbody static balance ability. Using SPSS11.5statistical software processing evaluationparameters, the indexes with mean and standard deviation (X士S). Human body staticbalance ability, except by sports factors will also be affected by factors such as age, height, weight, exercise factors can be controlled, and it is not controllable factors such as heightand weight, so this research adopts the height and weight of the multivariate analysis ofcovariance will as a covariate, using multivariate analysis of covariance test-static balanceability in the elderly age sex change trend. Age, height, and weight as covariate analysisoften attend two sports and don’t often take part in sports-year-old people the differencebetween static balance ability and analysis of two kinds of sports to improve effect of thedifferences between the old static balance. When using multivariate analysis of covariance,Post Hoc in covariance analysis method is used to compare evaluation parameters with andwithout significant difference between groups, the significance level of P <0.05, verysignificant level of P <0.01.Results1, In tai chi exercise group, on behalf of senior citizens with age static balanceindicators envelope area, postural sway long track, track energy consumption, Xdirection on a long trajectory in the Y direction in the long mean larger, there was asignificant difference between70-74age group and over80years of age.(P <0.05)2, In fitness walking exercise group, on behalf of senior citizens with age staticbalance indicators envelope area, postural sway long track, track energy consumption, Xdirection on a long trajectory in the Y direction in the long mean larger, except there wasno significant differences between the age groups70-74and75-79year-old group, and theremaining exist differences between the groups was significant (P <0.05).3, In no exercise group, with the envelope size in the test oldest old age, track lengthof postural sway, track energy, X direction being the length of the trajectory in the Ydirection in the average length becomes large, and a comparison between the groups therewere significant differences (P <0.05). 4, Amone the tai chi group exercise, fitness walking exercise group and the non-exercise group, on behalf of senior citizens static balance indicators envelope area, postural sway long track, track energy consumption, X direction length in the Y directionthe mean length of the track were larger, but the magnitude of change in terms of the meanchange in the minimum tai chi exercise group, the mean change in non-exercise grouphad the largest show that tai chi exercises and vigorous walking exercise can slow downthe senior citizens static balance the rate of decline, in which the improvement of74-79years old and80years of age or older elderly is more effective (P <0.05), tai chi toimprove the very elderly eyes closed feet, one leg balance ability significant effect(P<0.05).5, Taijiquan was significantly better than the Walking Movement on improving thestatic balance ability of the elderly (P<0.05), especially the74-79years old grope, over80years older grope.Conclusion1, Senior citizens′body static balance is showed a downward trend with age change, tai chi exercises and fitness walking did not change the downward trend of static balanceability, but to a certain extent, it is delayed the downward trend, which Taijiquan groupchanges rates is more slowly than fitness walking group and no exercise group, no exercisegroupe is the fastest decline amone the gropes.2, Often participate in tai chi exercises, fitness walking motion can improve the staticbalance, especially for improving older people aged80or older in static balance with eyes closed.3, Tai chi exercise on improving the ability of the elderly was significantly better thanthe static equilibrium Walking, so the elderly selected sports to improve static balance, priority select Taijiquan.4, Although tai chi exercise on improving the ability of the static balance is better, butbecause of its physical demand is higher, there is more difficult for those who had no basis,so for more than80years, Walking is a better select. Furthermore, it is suggest that weshould strengthen the popularity of Taijiquan in old age, in order to enter old age stagefitness workout to do to prepare.
