Dali being the main distribution of the Bai nationality and owning beautifulscenery in Cangshan and Erhai is the political, economic and cultural center ofYunnan Erhai. With the characteristic of Bai culture,the painted art of Dali’s localpeople is a state-level non-material cultural heritage, which has the important positionand the unique charm on the decoration of Bai’s buildings and also has an extremelyimportant value to study the history of the development, culture and architecture ofthe Bai nationality in Dali.In recent years, with national attention to non-material cultural protection, alllevels of governments in Dali region take the corresponding protective measures. Butwith the change of The Times, the protection and inheritance of the painted art is notenough. At the same time, it continues to be affected by the modern architecturewhich makes it under a state of loss. Currently, through the government’s activeefforts, the painted art gets the approval to be listed in the national non-materialcultural heritage protection list, and to protect the inheritance residential painting arthas already entered the important agenda. The thesis aims at seeking out thepioneering of the painted art on the basis of analyzing the reasons why the middle andprimary schools in Dali area can’t transfer this art. The thesis takes the Dal’sgeographical location, social history and human environment factors as thebreakthrough point, sorting and concluding the painted art in Dali Xizhou, Heqing andother places and carrying on a summary according to different categories, nature,technique of expression by combining the origin, types and characteristics of thepainted art in Dali Xizhou and Heqing, which compiles out the cases of the painted artof primary and secondary schools step by step.The thesis will find out a teaching ideafor the local primary and secondary schools of Dali Bai nationality to inherit thepainted art by the way of collecting cases. At the same time, it will put forward somesuitable advice for the Dali local-style painted foundation, the art teaching material oflocal primary and secondary schools. And it will also put forward the idea to add thepainted art for art major students in universities of Dali, which may have a pioneeringrealistic and theoretical meaning to the protection, inheritance, mining and usage ofDali Bai nationality art.
