Investigation On The Status And Factors Of College Students In Beijing To Learn

With the developing of the diversification recently, and the advance of promotingeducational reform, major colleges and universities have made the situation of students’learning as a hot issue, on the basis of an investigation of the top five universities inBeijing, we are focusing on analysis of student learning status and influencing factors,which includes five factors: individuals, families, professionals, schools and thecommunity.In the past year, we have did a sample survey of study status and influencing factors infive universities in Beijing, then have made a statistic analysis carried out on the basis ofstatistical analysis of survey research.Analytical method involves descriptive statistics,analysis of variance, factor and regression analysis, the results showed that:1.The students’overall self-evaluation level is good, but truancy rate is high.2.Municipal universities’ students’ learning initiative, self-discipline subordinates belowthe Affiliated.3. Municipal universities have high positive level in the factor of family on average, andthe difference between rural and urban students is small.4. The entire students focus on the employment situation.5. The academic atmosphere in municipal universities is not strong.6.The personal factors, school factors and family factors is the most important factoraffecting students’ learning situation. However, the professional and the social factorscan not be ignored.Thereafter, in order to improve the current situation of college students studying,anumber of recommendations involving institutional improvement and exploration, culture,employment guidance, professional development, stimulate students ’ personal qualitieshave been proposed, in order to improve teaching effectiveness of the colleges in Beijingarea, and also to provide a data support to improve the college students’ learningatmosphere.
