Music, one of the most vital arts, is an indispensable component of human life, in which humans can interact with each another to express their minds and emotions. Meanwhile, music teaching plays an unique role in promoting quality-oriented education as a bridge to promote the students to grow with a comprehensive advancement. Thus, it can be seen that music teaching is an approach to mould the students’ character and vital to the modernization of education and the construction of trans-century talents.With the development of music education, music class with high quality emerges as a means to fully embody spirit of music education, guiding more and more related study gradually. Currently speaking, few studies concern music class with high quality; if so, they are not comprehensive.The thesis consists of introduction, main body, and conclusion through the analysis of the fifth music high-quality education with questionnaire and literature research.. The first chapter introduces the research background, significance, methodology, and makes an analysis of the related reading material. The second chapter makes an analysis of the basic theory, which are based on the former studies, to render the concepts, characteristics and evaluation standards. In the third chapter, the thesis is to make a survey on the current situation in Shi Zuishan, which is followed by teaching designs, teaching methodology, and cause-effects in the next chapter. The fifth chapter explores music teaching in middle school from the aspects of improving teaching designs, methodology and process, based on the analysis of the current teaching situation in Shi Zuishan, to recommend some strategies. Finally, the thesis draws a conclusion, the deficiency included.The research is to promote the theoretical and practical advancement of music class with high quality, guide the teaching to be improved comprehensively to achieve the goal of improving music class quality, with its contribution to the new curriculum reform.
