Counseling Psvchology:a Practical Approach Of Humanistic Care For Moral Education

Modern school education system should not only cultivate individuals’ character, but also develop their social adaptation ability and healthy personality. Psychological counseling and humanistic care for moral education, which both belong to the school education system and closely relate to each other, jointly serve individual growth and success. Psychological counseling has the characteristics of humanistic concern that combines individual value with social value as a whole, and deeply corresponds to humanistic care for moral education. Hence, it’s probable and feasible to put humanistic care for moral education into practice through psychological counseling, which to certain extent shortens the way to realize its ultimate aim.The thesis adopted "people-oriented" conception as the core idea, and proposed two methods to realize humanistic care for moral education through psychological counseling:firstly, positive thoughts guide individual positive behaviors, which is an indispensable part of cultivating benevolence and developing character in practice. Psychological counseling is able to tap one’s potential, inspire one’s positive energy and promote one’s mental shackles by means of leading individual correct attribution, acquiring optimism, experiencing positive emotions as well as accumulating positive psychological capital. Secondly, the individual with healthy personality can shape a beautiful soul in free practice. Psychological counseling builds the healthy personality by effective ways containing promoting individual physical and mental health, improving the personality cognition, strengthen my consciousness and promote the emotion control ability, and realizes the development of individual psychological personality, the growth of wisdom personality, the improvement of moral personality and the perfection of aesthetic personality. Psychological counseling is of great significance as a practical approach of humanistic moral education for changing the situation of "education ignoring individual", and it leads individual to pursuing the truth, looking for the good and reaching the beauty in specific and operable ways. By cultivating positive thoughts and building healthy personality psychological counseling can develop individual potential, give people positive energy, foster a mature mind, and finally realize the ultimate aim of humanistic care for moral education---the complete and free development of people.
