Teaching is an ethical activity, there are moral and immoraljudgments and choices on all aspects of teaching activity. Allteaching activities have profound ethical implications. The newcurriculum reform advocates that teaching should be both scientificand ethical, furthermore, teaching should also focus on human careand take the overall development of students as the fundamentalpurpose. In the actual teaching situation, the phenomenon ofcontrary to teaching ethics commonly exists. After theimplementation of the new curriculum reform, there are all kinds ofold and new ethical issues, which in some extent affect schools’ andteachers’ development, fundamentally, the overall development andpotential of students are also hurt, and they are not conducive todevelop and construct socialist talents. Based on that, this thesisis analyzed as following about the deficiency and establishment ofteaching ethics under the perspective of the new curriculum reform. This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is about thewriting background, research thinking and methods, and the analysisof relevant review of the literature. The second part discusses therethinking of the teaching ethics related to the new curriculum reform,including teaching purpose, teaching assessment, teaching methodsand teaching relationships. The performance of teaching ethicsdeficiency is analyzed deeply from the perspective of teachingpurpose, teaching assessment, teaching methods and teachingrelationships in part III. As the teaching purpose and teachingevaluation are closely linked, so in this part they are analyzedtogether. The reasons of teaching ethics deficiency are mainly fromsocial, school and teacher. The building measures and suggestions ofteaching ethics are put forward in the fifth part.The purpose of researching the lack and building of teachingethics is to construct a harmonious campus environment, enhanceteachers’ ethical awareness, raise ethical character of teachingbehavior, and promote the overall development of students.
