Interactive development between rural schools and ruralcommunities means that rural schools and its communitiesform a good momentum of development in which the two is closelyrelated, organically integral and mutually promotive. There is a closerelationship between rural schools and rural communities. The formerprovide specialized education service for the latter. The latter are thesurvival “soil” of rural schools. However, due to various factors, ruralschools and rural communities can not be organically integrated, andform a good momentum of development. Studying on interactivedevelopment between rural schools and rural communities has animportant significance in improving rural schools’service function, and realizing the coordinated development ofeconomy, education and culture in rural communities.On the basis of long-term accumulation of life, the researchsample of this paper is a village in the north of Shanxi Province. In this paper, literature method, interview method and observationmethod are used to describe and analyze the interactive developmentbetween the rural school and the rural community from theschool, the teachers,the students and the education and teaching.Research shows that the sample village school is in trouble, and itsrole in the community is single, and the function of communityservicing also is weakening gradually. At the same time, the villageschool and the community are in a state of isolation. The culturalinheritance of the rural community appears fault, which leads to shortboard in culture development. To solve these problems, andrealize interactive development between rural schools and ruralcommunities, the following countermeasures are putforward: Firstly, realizing the sharing of resources between ruralschools and rural communities; Secondly, implementing diversifiedschool-running mode in rural communities; Thirdly, promoting theintegration of education in urban and rural areas; Fourthly,implementing management mode of “village-school” condominium;Fifthly, increasing the funds on mutual development between ruralschools and communities.
