Over the past hundred years, human has paid much attention to material wealth. However,today we realize that sunshine, water and air are bases for human sustainable development.Therefore, enhancing people’s consciousness of ecological environment is particularlyimportant.Although Chinese universities are emphasizing ecological-moral education, teachingcontents are only stressing the cognitive morality education and ignoring moral feeling cultivation,which result in lacking of emotional cognition to ecological-moral education. Ecological-moralemotion,playing an irreplaceable role on ecological-moral education, is human’s inner feeling toenvironmental situation and ecological behavior, and it includes reverence,responsibility,righteousness and rapport,etc.In the process of writing papers, the questionnaires were given to students from differentuniversities, and many effective questionnaires are collected. Statistical analysis showed usproblems on developing students’ ecological-moral emotion, and then proposals were put forwardby using the experiences of other related disciplines, such environtology and psychology.This paper is divided into five parts:the first part introduces the background and significanceof cultivating students’ ecological-moral emotion, meanwhile,this part expounds the currentresearch situation on Chinese and western ecological-moral emotion; the second part, viewedfrom feelings, moral emotion and moral emotion’ education, focuses on the analysis of ecological-moral emotion’ concept and history; the third part studies the current status and reasons ofecological-moral emotion’ cultivation on Chinese high school; the forth part proposes main contentsof cultivating ecological-moral emotion, which includes reverence,responsibility,righteousnessand rapport, etc; the last part discusses relative countermeasures, which are taking classroomeducation,psychological education, practical activity and campus culture as path to improvestudents’ ecological-moral emotion.
