College Teachers’ job satisfaction refers to all aspects of university teachers workingattitude and evaluation on their own, namely loves his occupation degree.College Teachers’ jobsatisfaction has become an important means and methods of modern management of highereducation, to make the management to grasp the teachers’ needs and attitudes towards work, tomanagement or change,enthusiasm and creativity of teachers work more effectively, improve thequality of university teaching, scientific research and social services, improve the managementlevel of colleges and universities.This paper analyzes on job satisfaction related concepts, theories, influencing factors, onthis basis, absorbing the existing research results at home and abroad,combined with thecharacteristics of the behavior of college teachers, the evaluation of university teachers jobsatisfaction scale and influence factors.Then, taking Shenyang Normal University as an example,carries on the questionnaire survey to the teachers, job satisfaction of teachers with valid datawere analyzed, through discussing the results of the study, puts forward the suggestion andreference. The results are as follows:(1)This study investigated the teacher of Shenyang Normal University to more on theworking satisfaction, in the leadership and management, social environment, the relationshipbetween colleagues, students and parents, social status, job, income and welfare, self realizationof the scores of nine dimensions are more than the neutral value.(2)These four aspects of work, income and welfare, self realization, colleaguerelationship plays a very important role in Teachers’ job satisfaction.(3)The relationship between personal background and job satisfaction: Gender,femaleteachers in Colleges and universities for job satisfaction than male teachers in Colleges anduniversities, the difference was significant; Married College Teachers’ job satisfaction thanunmarried teachers in Colleges and universities, marital status significantly influence on jobsatisfaction; There is significant difference between age and work of teachers in Colleges anduniversities satisfaction, structure of the relationship between the two shows a "N"type; Teacherswith different teaching age difference in the job satisfaction achieved significant level, teachingsenority is short of university teacher job satisfaction is lowest; The positive correlation betweeneducation and job satisfaction, the higher the degree of job satisfaction is higher, but the difference was not significant between teachers with different degree of job satisfaction;Scienceand engineering college teachers job satisfaction than high school teachers, the arts and arts, butthe difference did not reach significant level;There is a significant difference in the jobsatisfaction of college teachers of different titles, vice senior titles of University teachers thehighest satisfaction;Teachers of different income have significant difference in job satisfaction,but not income increase satisfaction will increase; There was no significant difference in the jobsatisfaction of college teachers take different courses; With the job satisfaction of CollegeTeachers in other work experience higher, there were significant differences in satisfaction andno university teachers’ other work experience in income and welfare.Suggestions are put forward on the basis of above research results: To establish a fair andreasonable salary system; Open channels of communication, people-oriented management; Tocreate a good working environment and campus conditions; Strengthen the construction of youngfaculty.
