Research And Suggestions On The Professional Construction0F B Province’s Independent College

Independent College, a new institution of higher education founded in China, is a private college runned under the new mechanism and the new model. Since the Reform and Opening up, the emergence of Independent Colleges improves the effective supply situation of higher education’s resources rapidly, promotes the rapid expansion of high-quality education resources, and has an effect on the higher education’s size, level, quality, investment and so on. The professional is the main carrier of Independent Colleges’teaching activities and an important node connecting the talent training and social needs. And professional building, an important part of the independent college’s talent training, is directly related with the quality of the talent training. Based on the sorting and statistical of56professionals’status data of five Independent Colleges, which is from the qualification evaluation of bachelor’s degree of Independent Colleges in B Province, this paper will analyze the problems in the process of their professional building and propose corrective suggestions on them.The paper is divided into six parts.In the first part, it will clarify the study significance of independent college’s profes-sional building, summarize its research status and provide the contents and methods, which is done on the basis of the conclusion of a large number of literature.In the second part, it’s the theoretical study of professional building, which starts from the concept of independent college, professional and professional construction to elaborate the theoretical basis of the professional construction of Independent Colleges.In the third part, it analyze the data of professional settings, the status of teaching staff, teaching conditions and training programs’settings, which is based on the basic teaching status data of each profession.In the fourth part, it will point out the problems in their professinal building that are concluded from the data analysis results of independent colleges.In the fifth part, the reasons resulting in the problems of their professinal building will be analyzed from external to internal.In the last part, faced with the problems, it will put forword some measures from five aspects including the management system’s specification, professional structure’s adjustment, teacher structure’s improvement, educational investment’s increase and the curriculum system’s completion to improve the quality of professional construction in independent colleges.
