The Research And Practice Of Effective Integration Of English Teaching And Modern Educational Technology In Middle School

With the continuing development of high-tech, modern educational technology in the21st century has entered into the era of rapid development. It is being used a lot in all subjects. Of course, it also brings new challenges to the current English teaching in middle school. How to get English teaching and modern educational technology integrate effectively? This is the issue that most of middle school English teachers must face. In the thesis, based on the theories of using modern educational technology, the author analyzed the problems which exist in current English teaching and provided some constructive advice. With the example of PPT making, the integration of English teaching and modern educational technology was expounded here. What does the author want is just to share the experience with others and provide the frontline English teachers with some helpful references.This thesis includes six sections. The first section is an introduction which describes the background and significance of the topic and the domestic and foreign research situation. It is also to expound the theories about English teaching and learning with the help of modern educational technology. The second section is to analyze the definitions of English teaching and Modern Educational Technology. They can help to understand the connotation and essence of English teaching and the true meaning of the modern educational technology. In the third section, the author analyzes the problems existing in interworking of modern educational technology and English teaching in middle school, and provided some constructive advice in the fourth section as well. The fifth section is to state the material types of multimedia application in English teaching and the ways to get them. In the sixth section, the author introduces the application of multimedia technology in English teaching by an example of courseware.
