With the continuous development and popularization of information technology, ways of people’s life, work and study have been influenced. Educational information has become a powerful driving force to promote education reform, which change the ways and models of education. At the same time, it puts forward a new challenge to the educational work. With the continuous advancement and deepening of educational information, modern educational technology has become an essential skill for teachers, and “Modern Educational Technology” also has become a compulsory course for college students.With the popularization of preschool education,normal colleges and universities actively respond to the national call offering pre-school education major. The colleges and universities have done some practice and research on improving teaching quality by using modern educational technology in preschool education. The application of modern educational technology in early childhood education plays an important role in the development of children. It is also a necessary skill for kindergarden teachers to master modern educational technology. According to the planning and deployment of the national Ministry of Education, the reserved secondary normal school should undertake the social responsibility of kindergarten teachers’ cultivating. At present, the training mode of preschool teachers in secondary normal schools is centered on the five basic skills of preschool education. The course about information technology is “Computer Basics” in secondary normal school, and they don’t set up “Modern Educational Technology”. How to cultivate secondary normal school students’ modern educational technology is a problem which is worth concerning and researching.Honghe National Normal School is only secondary normal school in Yunnan Province, which undertakes the social responsibility of preschool teachers ’ cultivating in Honghe Prefecture.In this paper, considering the actual situation of the school, the author combines the “Computer Basics” with the “Modern Educational Technology” for the integration and has done some teaching practice. The author wants to explore the training methods of modern educational technology for secondary normal schools’ students, and to learn from and reference to the similar schools, which will have a certain reference for similar schools. Through literature review, the author investigates the status of "Modern Educational Technology" in secondary normal school. Based on the analysis of the “Computer Basics” and “Modern Educational Technology” courses, combined with the interviews of the chargers in the primary school, kindergarten, teachers and practice classes, this paper analysizes the necessity and feasibility of the integration about “ Computer Basics ” and “Modern Educational Technology”. Combined with results of interview and analysis of student characteristics, the author determines teaching goal, teaching content and method of design of the integration, ultimately the integrated outline. Putting the integrated design into teaching practice, this paper evaluates the effect of teaching practice, for the project evaluation of the improvement of students’ information technology and modern teaching technology. The result is good. Practice has proved that it is feasible to combine the “Modern Educational Technology” and the “Computer Basics” to cultivate the students’ modern educational technology skills.
