Research On Citizenization Of The City Drifters Of The College Students From Rural Areas

Since the eighteenth congress, urbanization of farmers as the focus of the urbanization has also been the government’s high attention. The city drifters of rural college students as an important object of citizenization of farmers, has a strong urbanizing will, but there are still some difficulties to complete transformation. So according to the social identity theory to analysis citizenization of the city drifters’present situation and existing problems, and put forward the feasibility of countermeasures for speeding up the urbanization process in China has important significance.The text altogether four parts. The first part introduces research background, research significance and the existing related research of citizenization of the city drifters, then introduces the investigation system of the city drifters which on the basis of Wang Guixin about inspection system of the characteristic of urbanization of urban migrant workers and Yang Juhua about index system frame of the social integration of the floating population. The second part according to the investigation system, on the basis of the structured interview of30drifters in Changsha, analyze present situation of their Living conditions, the economic life, behavior concept, political participation, psychological identity and so on five aspects of urbanization, the results show that the concept of the city drifter’s urbanization faster, but the economic urbanization of life and the political participation of the status quo is not optimistic. The third part analyses the reason of block the city drifter’s urbanization. Discuss mainly from two aspects:on the one hand is the institutional factors, such as The household registration system, employment system, social security system; On the other hand is the institutional factors, such as severe social exclusion, less social capital, the limitations of their own quality. The fourth part puts forward measures that strengthen the functions of the government, increase social support, promote the city drifter’s ability.The innovation of this study is that the subject is new, in the past have a lot of research on urbanization, but most of the research subject is migrant workers; Focus on university graduates in rural areas are focused on employment, and research on the city drifter almost nothing. Due to the subjective and objective factors, interviewed limitly, makes the conclusions representative and typical obtained in this paper, combined with research system in some indexes are difficult to quantify, so is hard to the city drifter urbanization level for quantitative analysis. In the later research will pay more attention to the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.
