Manual activities as an important component of art activities, which is one of the important ways for children to express ideas,emotions and discover the unknown world.It could cultivate their sensibility,expression and creativity to beauty,and build up a good basis for their follow-up study in art field.Teachers’ proper guidance in manual teaching activities is conducive to childre’s feelings and appreciation,performance and development of creative ability.This research mainly adopts the method of observation and interviewing.Taking A kindergarten in Changsha for example,six teachers of the top class randomly selected as the research object.The aim is to observe their guide behavior in craft teaching activities.The full text is divided into the following four parts.Part I:Introduction. Presents the reasons of this research,makes the definition of relevant concepts,summaries relevant research documents,indicates the selected subjects and methods,states the purpose and significance of the study.Part II:Results and Analysis.Combining the observed records and interviewed data,this paper describes the current situation of manual teaching activities in A kindergarten.Then analyses the external and internal factors which affecting instruction behavior in manual teaching activities.Part III:Discussion and Recommendations. Teachers lack of watch and wait before the guidance; Teachers use multiple guidance modes to impart skills comprehensively; Guidance is in result-oriented style,but ignores the cultivation of children’s creativity. From theoretical level,it makes the following recommendations on how to improve the quality of teacher’s guiding behavior:do comprehensive observation before the guidance, to improve the quality of survey; with easily perceived materials,in order to feel and experience beauty for children; raise teachers’own artistic accomplishments; raise the teachers’ level of teaching; update the parents hand idea,strengthen home of sterile.Part IV:Conclusions and Reflection. Conclusions of this study are as follows:First, at the beginning,a certain of differences exist on the guidance content in different types of manual teaching activities; teachers are combined to model manipulation language action guide, supplemented by explaining the language of instruction, no action guidance director. Second, in the basic part,the guidance of teachers with high frequency; there are differences between different types of manual teaching guidance content; teachers in language instruction-based is combined with the guidance of teachers attention, the focus of different teaching types of activities instructor manual mode is not the same; instructor initiated based mainly on teachers; teachers mainly used the individual and group instruction method; positive effects supervisor a higher proportion. In the end, the researchers make a reflection in respect of the sample, content, analysis and research methods.
