Kindergarten manual activity is one of the teaching activities that children can be guided by teachers,through using simple tools and materials to renovate some materials purposely and designedly.Manual activities are the important part of kindergarten education content,and play the positive role for young children's operational ability,imagination,and creativity.Therefore,kindergarten should pay more attention to the manual activities,and carries out diversified manual activities which can accord with the developmental characteristics of young children.Although the manual activities currently have become more and more getting attention,it is only a concept level without any effective implementation,moreover,teachers have many organizational problems when they hold some manual activities,for example,materials preparation problem,materials recycling problem,lacing of connections between different subjects,do not have comprehensive comments from teachers to limit young children's operational ability and creativity,and too care about the beauty of appearances instead of the real value of manual works.This study selected six teachers from three levels of large,medium and small classes in Dalian as the interviewees,the children are the research objects when they are doing the manual activities.This study used literature method,observation method,interview method and case analysis method,and investigated from manual material delivery,manual activity organization,manual activity guidance,manual activity evaluation and manual work in the environment created using these five dimensions.The study focused on those three levels' children,so that the problems could be found that manual material delivery was not reasonable,the manual area lacked of systemic manual activity organization,the teachers only used unitary method,the manual activity evaluation was not be satisfied,and the manual works.were not used fully.It gave some reasonable suggestions according to those problems:reasonable to deliver the manual materials,organizing the manual activities scientifically and regularly,improving the manual activity evaluation,using the manual works fully in the environmental creation.Giving the help to teachers who work on the manual activity area to provide theory and practice,so,manual activities could carry out better in kindergartens.
