With the development of the times, Chinese Language Curriculum Standard puts forward a series of new ideas. These new ideas aim at breaking the traditional view of language teaching and opening up a new vision of the Chinese teaching reform and construction. The after-textbook exercises is an important part of senior middle school’s Chinese textbooks. The main purpose is to help students to review and consolidate knowledge, what’more, it plays a great role in self-test learning effect, and it helps students to adjust learning methods in time so that they can reflect their learning process. In addition, the after-class exercises can also provide teaching effect feedback to teachers. As an important part of transforming knowledge into ability, its level directly affects the teaching target can be completed smoothly or not. Therefore it has the extremely pivotal position. Although the test is not the goal of Chinese education, it is the directest way to examine the effects of teaching. Therefore, it is also of great significance to study the system of after-class exercises.Under the pressure of college entrance examination, students are still facing the overweight burden. As an extension of the classroom teaching, the problems of how to project the exercises system and how to convert the knowledge teached in classroom to practice are still not be solved. In the process, we found that many investigators pay close attention to the whole textbook system, but do not notice the process of writing.Beyond that, they study the Problems in terms of macroscopic view. As a consequence, the exercise system is not carefully reconstructed as a relatively independent system. In fact, both students and teachers pay less attention to the homework, and the assignments are also optional. The Chinese textbook published by the people’s education press is widely used in China because of its operability, times and enrichment. But in the teaching practice, due to subjective and objective reasons, there are some problems in its setting system. As one of the three disciplines, Chinese has been ignored for many different reasons. On one hand, students spend little time on studying Chinese, on the other hand, there are many problems of the after-class exercises,such as difficult operation. To increase utilization efficiency of exercises in the textbook, this paper tries to find the root of the problem from the perspective of interlinking the college entrance examination with Chinese textbooks. We hope we can propose some appropriate countermeasures to the problem.This thesis is divided into four parts:the preface state the status and significance of proposed research in terms of current usage. The second part analyzes exercises system in the view of substance and structure. Then we use educational psychology theories to explain the rationality of this arrangement. Finally, we summarize the characteristics of this operating system.The third part analyze the problems by comparing the operating system with the entrance examination. The fourth part puts forward Suggestions for improvement.
