The ecological balance of the teaching environment plays an important role in the healthy development of school physical education. School education is an indispensable part in education which, in turn, is the essential link to the education activity. The school teaching reform plays a key role in the development of education activity, renewal of education process and adjustment of the education environment. Nowadays, in the harmonious society which lay an emphasis on the people, the environment of PE teaching is regarded as an important factor of PE teaching,which lies in a significant position in the promotion of teaching quality as well as the acceleration of students’physical and psychological development.PE teaching is influenced by many elements because of the large school numbers in Wuhan.Thus,how to cultivate the student through PE teaching becomes the key issue in the PE teaching the school. In the meantime, it attempts to signal the direction for the training of both the teachers and athletes.Based on the theory of ecology of education, the thesis uses some relevant researches such as physiology,psychology,education,sociology and PE teaching theory by the means of logical reasoning,questionnaire,statistics,factor analysis and other research methods.Furthermore, the essential characters and rule of track and field will also be combined here,which aims to create the ecological environment of Track and Field in PE departments of the universities in Wuhan.The valid application to the educational subjectivity puts forward the following concept:the teaching environment in Track and Field is an organic whole created by multiple factors interdentally and interactively, which will benefit the teaching activity by abiding of ecological rules.lt will not only be beneficial to students’s practical ability in Track and Field, but also help students build right behavioral attitude and value orientation.The study shows that:1.The ecological environment of the Track and Field teaching in the Department of Physical Education is an organic system which is under the influence of the interplay and constraint of manifold factors.2.Dominant restriction factors play an important part in students’study under Track and Field teaching ecological environment. 3.In the ecological environment of the department of physical education in the universities, various factors are closely related to each other based on specific rules.
