Nowadays,the primary school students’ interests in learning mathematics are not strong,their activities are not clearly reflected in the mathematics lessons. As future primary schoolteachers, we should learn how to arouse students’ enthusiasm of primary mathematics lessons,and make the mathematics lessons full of activity and vitality. This is the main issue that theprimary school teachers should think about. Through my research on teaching of mathematicsin primary schools by Professor Hua Yinglong, I realize that Professor Hua Yinglong foundthe real problem in teaching. His method is student-centered, and thinking carefully before thelesson, seeking problems in the lesson and reflecting after the lesson. This kind of methodachieved good results. It provides a strong theoretical base and practical support for themathematics lessons in the primary school.I mainly use the case-investigating method, by watching instructional videos of theProfessor Hua Yinglong, reading his teaching notes and essays, and analyzing andsummarizing the cases from the angle of his teaching method, style and features in this paper.By learning his teaching practice, we gain the teaching method, which provides the basis forthe teaching of mathematics teachers in primary school.First of all, I account for the returning of the “focusing on students” in this paper. I showthis method from the humanized mathematics, mathematics in life, mathematics in dialogueand seeking this theoretical basis for his teaching wisdom. Secondly, I explain the "meltingthe errors" teaching method, including three parts of content, that education that melts theerrors,"melting the errors" stage theory, the teaching of "melting the errors"."Human-centered" teaching method of the Professor Hua Yinglong should be employed intothe nowadays mathematics lessons teaching. And let it be an organic part of Professor Hua’steaching wisdom. Thirdly, I illustrate the teaching style of the Professor Hua Yinglong and hisart of teaching language, inspiring the students ’ wisdom and intelligence of his teaching. Thiskind of capability shows the Professor Hua’s uniqueness in the teaching of mathematics inprimary school, and reflects his wisdom in teaching. Finally, I illustrate the inspiration givenby the Professor Hua to the nowadays mathematics teachers and the the students major in theprimary education.I introduce and summarize the primary school mathematics teaching method, teaching artand the teaching style of the Professor Hua Yinglong in my paper. These parts form theunique teaching wisdom and theory, which will promote the development of the theory of themathematics teaching in primary school and lay a good foundation of the practice of themathematic teaching in the future.
