The basic link of the teaching work mainly includes five aspects,lessonpreparation, classes, homework assignment and correction, tutoring, studentachievement inspection and evaluation. However, the design of homework often isthe most overlooked aspect in the actual teaching process.In this study, combined with the related research at home and abroad inhomework and study engagement,under the guidance of a certain theoretical basisproposed definition of autonomic homework. By studying the activity of autonomichomework, take the initiative to students in the homework,attention to the learningprocess rather than results in the homework of independent participation. By meansof a series of practical scenarios set in the course of the study, improve studentparticipation to the learning initiative and creativity in homework, in order to changetheir negative learning attitude, and gradually form students learn good study habitsand ideas, which will help to improving the quality of teaching.This article is looking up the homework and study engagement in the relatedresearch at home and abroad, on the basis of doing comparative experiment using toselect a rural township middle schools Grade1in educational and psychologyexperiment method, which will making use of researcher was teaching in the ruraltownship middle school. By the teacher interference in the students designedautonomic homework of the specific teaching,it will to achieve the affecting instudents participation in the English homework. And through the questionnairesurvey to carry on the quantitative study, the experimental results is measured byusing self-made questionnaire, and which accounts for changing in the degree ofstudent participation mainly from the student behavior, cognition, emotion involvedin three areas.The results show that, by comparing the experiment in two classes, students inthe experimental class in independent homework on participation has improvedsignificantly, some students weariness of studying has changed, improved ability in the Inquiry learning and innovative learning, at the same time the overallperformance of learning English is significantly greater than that of the control class.Finally, the researcher were summarized to The whole experiment process, forreflecting on how to carry out the teaching experiment in autonomic homework, howto improve the aid of actual level of participation of students in autonomic homework.Through a combination of theory and practice, it is trying to seek out a new way forelementary education reform.
