For a long time, practice teaching course has not been given enough attention, which is in a weak position, but with the international teacher education " returning to practice" in recent years, the practice teaching course has increasingly draw people’s attention and become the focus of research. Free normal as the national key training object and the future hope of basic education of China, the success or failure of practice teaching is related to the quality of free normal students. Based on this background, how to improve the practice teaching of free normal students has become an important task for the reform of higher education. This paper is starting to the difficulties of practice teaching course of free normal students and the concern of the development trend of practice teaching curriculum under the wave of teacher professional. This paper is composed of introduction and text, and the text mainly discusses four parts:The introduction part is presented to illustrate the importance and urgency of teaching practice of free normal students. In the first part, the paper briefly expounds the value of the practice teaching, by tracing back its history of our country’s practice teaching since1978and summarizing achievements and shortcomings of the practice teaching course from the reform and opening up, so as to provide historical reference to carry out practice teaching course; In the second part, the paper writes about the case subjects in this survey--A case analysis of the status of the course setting in X university of free normal university students and the interpretation of questionnaire results; The third part is to reveal the existing problems and analyze the reason of free normal students’ practice teaching courses; The fourth part is starting from the two aspects of curriculum and school, which put forward the optimization measures and suggestions of free normal students’ practice teaching.The specific research methods used in this paper are survey method, interview method and literature method, focusing on the research of the two levels of curriculum and school for the practice teaching course setting of free normal students. In the curriculum level, the paper pay attention to the construction of curriculum content system, curriculum idea, curriculum evaluation in curriculum issues; in the school level, the paper mainly solve the problems of the construction of teachers and cooperation of university and Primary and secondary schools.
