| With the rapid increase of the China’s economy, the ways of entertainment have seen an unprecedented change in diversity. The exotic culture, including pop, rock music and dramas, has shared a major seat with the newly-emerging pop culture in China’s mammoth culture industry by the influence of the mass media. Sichuan Opera has fielded itself many difficult issues in the process of the inheritance, such as the market downturn, the shutdowns of private opera troupes, performers’ aging problems and etc.There is no audience without a real opera. Many people do not comprehend the roles played by the unique skills through a performance of Sichuan Opera. People are reluctant to see an opera because of the lack of interests. Then, it leads to the performance markets’ downturn. Without the funds, the quality of the performance will reduce. Further, people would lose interests in watching the opera. In the end, it would become a vicious circle. Therefore, it is significant to increase the number of audience and cultivate successors. Thus, there are two main purposes of Sichuan Opera education in primary and secondary school. The first is to let students understand it, the second is to find potential talents within students.Sichuan Opera inheritance in primary and secondary school is in a pilot stage. There are some problems, such as the deficient policies; shortage in funds; imperfect teaching materials. At the same time, many schools do not have enough experience and a mode needed for reference. Therefore, based on the learning theory of constructivism—"one principal type plus three secondary types", inheritance mode is created. One principal type means that students learning Sichuan Opera in the classroom. The three secondary types indicate that students learning Sichuan Opera in drama clubs, theatres, and training courses. In order to ensure the mode to run perfectly, some guarantee mechanisms are implemented into the following fields of government, school, industry and home. This research is based on a fieldwork aiming universality and practicality. Therefore, it provides a reference to protect Sichuan Opera inheritance in primary and secondary school. |
