"Red Classics" is a series of literary works in the fifties and sixties of the20th century, which performance under the leadership of the communist party of China’s revolutionary struggle and socialist construction. These literary works’ guideline is Talks at the yenan forum on literature and art by Mao Zedong.This kind of works are very close to politics, so these literary works came to decline after the Cultural Revolution. Today in the21st century,"Red Classics" are appear in people’s field of vision again. At the same time, the "Red Classics" fiction elected to the Beijing version of high school language textbook, and became a separate topic. Thereby triggering the research that thinking of the value of this kind of literature education and teaching condition test.Therefore, this thesis is base on the theory of Marxist philosophy, pedagogy. Through reading the "Red Classics" relevant literature, analysising the thematic of textbook, and interviewing the editor of the Beijing edition textbook to explore the "Red Classics" feature writing the educational value. By means of surveys and interviews of high school language teachers, to understand Beijing "Red Classics" teaching and problems. hi the concluding paragraph, I try to explore ways to achieve educational value.The point of this thesis is that "Red Classics" assimilated Chinese classical novels in the characters portrayed practices, and sculptured a group of socialist spiritual hero.If the lack of understanding of this type of literature, students will have a faultage about the contemporary literature in mind.the context of the development of contemporary literature is incomplete in the minds of students.But the "Red Classics" is the product of a particular era. Today, it is necessary to fully understand the context of the development of contemporary Chinese literature to learn "Red Classics" by students, but also to understand the background of the people. I consider that we need to base on the widespread contact rules,asimilat the strength and nutrition from the "Red Classics" and the old history to build a modern socialist power.Although the "Red Classics" has immature side, but we can’t negate totally, nor sacre because it into textbook. Teachers should guide students to look "Red Classics" history and realistic value by dialectic view.
