| Since the1980s, the quality of higher education has been aroused the wide attention from all over the world, many countries have explored the paths to improve the quality of education. Promoting university faculty’s instructional ability is the basis to improve the quality of higher education, as is the necessary requirements and fundamental measures to improve the quality of higher education. Thus, the construction of faculty’s instructional development center has become a common practice in the famous universities outside the country (territory), enhancing university faculty’s instructional ability, and leading university faculty to excellence teaching that have played an immeasurable role.However, the construction of faculty’s instructional development center in Chinese university is still a new thing, its development is basically at the exploration stage, how to scientifically construct faculty’s instructional development center in university, which is an important research subject. This thesis attempts to study on the construction of faculty’s instructional development center in Chinese university, through normative research and comparative analysis, find out existence problems during the construction of faculty’s instructional development center in university, and refer to the experience of the construction of instructional development center in the famous universities outside the country (territory), trying to find a suitable road on the construction of faculty’s instructional development center in university for our country, and ultimately put forward the organizing mode conception of the construction of faculty’s instructional development center in Chinese university.The thesis mainly consists of the following five parts: The introduction part introduces the research background on the construction of faculty’s instructional development center in Chinese university, purpose, significance, methods and related research situation both at home and abroad and the definition of core concepts.The first chapter describes the necessity of the construction of faculty’ s instructional development center in Chinese university. Putting forward the construction of university faculty’s instructional development center is the inevitable requirement of the reform and development of higher education, the reality demand of the construction of the teaching quality in the universities, and the objective need of improving the university faculty’ s professional development level.The second chapter discusses the current situation of the construction of faculty’s instructional development center in Chinese university, and analyzes the problems to be solved.
