Because the teaching quality of higher education is influenced by the trend of the popularization of Higher Education,a specialized agency that helps university teachers develop—Faculty Development Center has already appeared.Faculty Development Center started late in China,and it is still in the early stage of construction now.So far,we do not know enough about its function,so the central function cannot be effectively exerted,which make the center function cannot be effectively played.Therefore,the construction of the Faculty Development Center has been a hot issue in Higher Education in recent years.The purpose of this study is to explore its working mode from a new perspective of the work content of the Faculty Development Center and to provid a new perspective for the construction of Faculty Development Center in colleges and universities in Heilongjiang Province.This article takes the teachers from nine universities in Heilongjiang Province as the object of investigation,we send out questionnaires online to obtain data and evaluate teachers' satisfaction through data analysis,and find out several factors that have a greater impact on teachers' satisfaction.Then,combined with the information collected from some university portals,we find the difficulties and challenges faced by the center in the process of construction and analyzed the reason,and proceed to the next step to put forward reasonable and operable countermeasures and suggestions.Firstly,we sort out the relevant literature of the construction of teacher development centers in Heilongjiang Province and universities at home and abroad,and to collect the relevant experience of several university construction centers.We summarize the Current Situation and Problems of the Construction of Teacher Development Center.On this basis,this paper summarizes the relevant enlightenment of foreign countries on the construction of the Faculty Development Center in China by comparing the function orientation,service object and content,and institutional settings of the Faculty Development Center at home and abroad.The second part is the most empirical in this research.Through the collection of a large number of previous literature,a set of satisfaction indicators of university teachers to the Faculty Development Center is preliminarily summarized,and a questionnaire is designed according to the indicators.At the same time,the design of the questionnaire refers to the opinions and suggestions of the relevant professional mentors to modify and get the final questionnaire.Nine colleges and universities in Heilongjiang Province were distributed,and university teachers were randomly invited to participate in the survey.After the questionnaires collected,some invalid questionnaires were excluded,and the collected data were input and analyzed.Relevant analysis and multiple regression analysis were carried out using SPSS software to find out the main factors affecting teachers' satisfaction.Finally,according to the conclusion of the empirical study,we can know the main factors affecting satisfaction and their importance level.According to the above conclusions,this paper puts forward some measures to improve teachers' satisfaction with the Faculty Development Center,which is also a necessary suggestion for the construction of the Faculty Development Center in colleges and universities in China,especially in Heilongjiang Province.From the point of view of the competent education department,they should improve the relevant policies and realize the function of supervision and guidance.From the perspective of colleges and universities,we should pay more attention to the Faculty Development Center,optimize the top-level design of the center,and rationally allocate the human resources of the Faculty Development Center.From the point of view of the Faculty Development Center,it is necessary to formulate scientific and perfect post standards,improve the professional training of the staff of the center,and strengthen cooperation with departments and colleges.From the point of view of teachers,we should conscientiously and actively participate in the activities of the center,cooperate with the Faculty Development Center to improve their teaching and scientific research quality.
