Improving the quality of higher education and cultivating of creative talents, has always been a top priority of education affairs in our country. Our government officially launched "the higher school undergraduate teaching quality and teaching reform project" in2007, and put forward the teaching team construction. Teaching team was constructed as a guarantee to improve the teaching quality, teaching ability and teachers’quality. The project called national teaching team was started since2007. From2007to2011, the universities built1013national teaching teams,888national teaching teams from the undergraduate schools,125national teaching teams from vocational schools. Among them, there are ten national teaching teams from specialties of first class disciplines of educational discipline. Based on the ten national teaching teams from educational discipline in2007-2010as the research samples, respectively, we investigated the professional distribution, team size, team structure, team leader, teaching work and teaching achievements from several aspects, and analyzed the existing problems in the construction of teaching teams on educational discipline:the educational disciplines and professional distribution is not balance; the national teaching team size is too big; the national teaching team construction is not reasonable; the administerization of leader is obvious, and research ability is poor; teaching work lag behind year after year; institutional construction effect was not significant. Based on the above problems, the author analyzes the reasons of problems in the construction of teaching team. Based on the above analysis, the author puts forward the following Suggestions:one is to help the developing teaching teams; Second, the educational department should standardize the basic requirement of the national teaching team evaluation, constructing the scientific system about teaching team structure; the third one is to strengthen the overall assessment of education discipline team construction in colleges and universities, and to perfect the performance appraisal mechanism; the forth one is to clear educational subject position, and increase the investment of government and universities.
