There are so much basic concepts and terms in organic chemistry. They are not only esoteric connotations but also very abstract, so it is difficult for students to master and transference applications. Besides, there are also varieties of problem as a result many students could not find a breakthrough because they are tired of reading the title carefully. Students can hardly grasp the law in organic chemistry.Because of the above characteristics when students learn organic chemistry it comes to the prominent phenomenon, meaning that it seemed to understand in the classroom but the scores rate is very low in exams for students. While in the teaching practice students done a lot of homework, however, due to the complex exercises homework don’t really play a role since achievement motivation were low in student. What’s more, the students was poor in organic chemistry problem solving and understanding differences migration ability, such as the prevalence of cognitive development, the traditional "one size fits all" homework does not take account of the differences between students and organic chemistry,so it is not convenient for student to learn.High school students will finish the further study of organic chemistry was in the five basic organic chemistry courses, this study starts from the foundation of organic chemistry course standard and teaching material analysis. By investigating the students present situation, carry on the reasonable hierarchy on the student to; and then by designing and setting assignments, it meets the needs of different levels students to develop extracurricular layered homework; Finally through statistical data in the change of student achievement and the change of the understanding of homework, their thinking skills will be enhanced.First by questionnaire and interview, understand the current state of homework and assignments; Through literature method to summarize the experience of forefathers’research and the research proposal; Through the education measurement analysis results before and after the change; At last test the final research hypothesis.Experimental assumes layered homework can significantly improve students of basic organic chemistry learning, through the manipulation of the independent variable-homework (change the original form of homework, layered homework), to monitor the dependent variable-organic chemistry performance changes (test scores before and after contrast, two unit test cases) and the changes.In practice, the design of the layered operation and unit test bases on organic chemistry curriculum standards. Besides, the principles include teaching goals the taxonomy of educational objectives, SOLO four level theory and heory of zones of proximal development.Methods were designed to identify functional groups in organic chemistry to understand the concept of judgment types of organic reactions, organic modeling, experimental organic chemistry, organic synthesis route, the same score judgments and write operations, such as layered isomers;By controlling the difficulty of the work, the amount of work and context similarity, the students learning organic chemistry problems were found. And then carry out improved stratified operation in time, design a truly suitable for different students development needs layered homework.After a semester of experiments, this study made the following findings(1)At the process of high school Organic Chemistry teaching, application of stratified homework can prevent students cheat on their homework, making every student participate in Chemistry Learning.(2)Stratified homework makes students chemical performance improved. Without changes in other teaching methods, changing homework only can help students with chemistry learning, which confirms the research hypothesis.(3) Through the differences before and after the questionnaire, in application of stratified work, Students complete their homework in a more appropriate time, The number of suitable homework makes the students change the understanding of chemistry homework, realize the importance of homework.(4) The application of stratified work enables students at all levels have the harvest. In the process of completing homework, the students of Group C experienced the pleasure of success and achievement motivation. The students of Group B continue to challenge, they became more confident. The students of Group A obtained stable increase, they became more outstanding.In the process of evaluating their assignments, that the students of group A guide others makes them acquire knowledge more firmly. Students of Group B and group C discuss in groups, listen to the peer to explain, and cooperate with each other, which makes them study knowledge more easily. According the explanation of the core knowledge in class, each student’s application migration ability and the processing of new information ability get promoted.However, because of the small sample size and the limitation of ability of researcher, the design of Organic Chemistry Basis case may exist defects, which needs further study. Furthermore, the general adaption of the study also need to further tested.
