Fitness is a higher pursuit in real life according to our own actual need, it can promote themselves by their own physical exercise in physical and mental health. It can be called a kind of social practice activities. It has great traits through improving our body function and body shape via with movement, such as our own aerobic and anaerobic training.The main purpose is to make human a healthy body and a good mind. Through external exercise, it makes people a more strong and handsome body. Along with the rapid development of economy, people’s living standards improve constantly too. A kind of commercial fitness club arises at the historic moment——the late1980s to the early1990s.As a new, unique, organized sports venues club goes popular in the masses. Fitness clubs have sprung up all over the country. As the world’s most populous country, fitness market is very potential in China. As long as the operation and management properly, the development prospect of fitness club in the sports industry is very considerable. Therefore, fitness club management becomes a great concern to a lot of managers and investors.This article through questionnaire survey, on-the-spot investigation, expert interviews, information analysis and so on, to investigate Guilin fitness club management and present situation. Then this paper could put forward corresponding countermeasures to provide the basic reference to the development and improvement of fitness club. According to the investigation and analysis to get the relevant data and conclusions.Conclusion:1. The fitness club project high convergence.2. Guilin fitness club equipment allocation and utilization of the existing problems.3. The price positioning of guilin fitness club and the national first-and second-line cities compared to developed on the low side, similar structure, high convergence, and fitness club marketing mode is simple and imperfect.4. Guilin fitness club managers’ professional management ability and cultural quality is low, the coaches general professional ability, contribute to the development of fitness club and there are some limitations, the sex ratio imbalance, fitness club coach coaches degree is not high, and coaches for their pay is not satisfied.5. Fitness club single form of publicity, not form a good publicity.Therefore, it is urgent to do a questionnaire survey to fitness consumers for the fitness club managers in Guilin. So that they can understand consumer’s demand well, then can intensify the propaganda to attract more potential customers; what’s more, to strengthen the supervision to the coach, to supervise and urge the coaches learning out, it can enhance their professional knowledge and kills, at last but not least, to strengthen the cooperation and communication between clubs to develop more suitable fitness market system and improve and maintain fitness market in Guilin.Countermeasures:1.Actively guide citizens, changing its fitness consumption idea, strengthen the consciousness of citizen of fitness.2. Specification club mode of operation and management, the introduction of professionals.3. Pay attention to market research, market segmentation and positioning.4. Improve the operating environment, improve the quality of service.5. Go with its unique business model, enhance competitiveness.
