The new curriculum concept advocates the concept of democracy, openness and science courses, and the improvement of students’ overall quality. So it is particularly important to update the teaching content and teaching methods. In this study, a review of relevant studies, based on the thinking and psychology research based, discusses the inductive thinking, deductive thinking, intuitive thinking, divergent thinking, and their performance characteristics of reverse thinking in organic chemistry teaching and training strategy. This study suggests that teaching should be to get rid of the knowledge-based, enhance the mode of thinking, develop the habit of thinking and enhance students’ thinking ability In order to improve students’ ability to adapt to the requirements of modern society and science literacy. Thus, the study, according to the new curriculum standards for organic chemistry education requirements and in order to develop the mode of thinking and the habit of mind, designs two teaching cases. They are structure and chemical properties of ethanol, structure and chemical properties of acetic acid. In the form of instructional design, it discusses strategies and methods to infiltrate the mode of thinking and habits of mind:to provide students with a situation can lead to students’ interest; to creat problem situations and fully expand classroom interaction;to encourage students to continue to modify the solution to the problem;to reasonably conduct inquiry teaching.
