China’s national education shoulders the dual mandate, that is to impart the minority students universal modern scientific cultural and knowledge, and also take on the historical mission of preservation, continuation and innovation of the minority culture at the same time, which to develop minority students to become the "live" inheritance of the national culture. The key problem of this study is in multicultural background how the Basic Education of Multiethnic and multicultural areas integrates ethnic culture essence into the existing school curriculum system organically to make make each ethnic cultural heritage respected and understood,and enrich the school curriculum resources, improve the school curriculum structure,and enhance the adaptability of the course as well.This paper takes the case of national culture entering the campus in Longsheng autonomous county of Guangxi as an example,which is in the multicultural background, on the basis of theoretical study of Multicultural education,the cultural function of education, and the relationship between culture and curriculum, using the methods of on-the-spot investigation, interview, observation, questionnaire survey as well as literature analysis, try to systematically analyze why to integrate national culture into the campus, how Longsheng Basic Education schools integrated the national culture into school curriculum, what results were obtained, what problems exist and what are the influencing factors. Try to reveal the basic model of integration of local national culture and the school curriculum. Aims to improve the integration mechanism of national culture and school curriculum,and provide the local Basic Education curriculum reform with constructive opinion, the conceptual framework and practical cases for reference.The dissertation consists of seven parts: Part one:Introduction. Based on the present situation that the minority cultural inheritance in our country is grim and the reality that Basic Education course lacks characteristics and adaptability in national regions, from the current situation of national culture and school education research in China, illustrates the purpose of this study, the value and the theoretical basis,and try to define the relevant concepts, introduce the ideas and methods of this study briefly.Part two:The necessity of the integration of minority culture and school curriculum. It mainly elaborates the contemporary inheritance of minority cultural is facing many kinds of difficulties, such as the inheritance of traditional field digestion, people’s values changing, the impact of the development of science and technology and so on.Besides,it also states the various values of the integration, such as promoting minority cultural inheritance, protecting diversity cultural,enriching curriculum resources, enhancing the adaptability of curriculum, etc.Part three, the Present situation investigation of the integration of minority culture and the school curriculum. Try to describe the present situation of the integration of school M on the basis of field investigation, summarize the results and experience school M has got, reveal the existing problems, such as curriculum idea relatively backward, the single objective orientation, lack of ethnic cultural curriculum resources development, the lack of relevant materials, the traditional teaching methods, the low level integration way.Besides, also analyzed the causes of the problems occurring in the school curriculum integration.Part four, the analysis of the causes of problems occurring in the integration between minority culture and school curriculum of M school. That lack of funding, policy guarantee system is not sound, lack of teachers, lack of relevant theoretical guidance, evaluation system is inelastic are the important causes leading to the integration problems.Part five, the strategy and suggestion for perfecting the integration of national culture and school curriculum. Contraposing the problems occurring during integrating, propose strategy and the suggestion based on the analysis of the causes, covering the formulation of curriculum goal, curriculum content selection and organization, curriculum implementation and evaluation, etc.Part six, Construct the guarantee system for the integration of national culture and the school curriculum,including developing perfect curriculum policy;enhancing the investment of funds; improving teachers’ multicultural curriculum quality and the system of basic education evaluation; strengthening the education and scientific research of schools in ethnic minority areas, etc to give safeguard to national culture and school curriculum integration.Part seven, conclusion.
