In the1970s, International Education Development Committee(IEDC) published a report which is named in "Learning to be:the world of education today and tomorrow"in the face of new challenges from science and technology revolution and social economic development to education. This report put forward four pillars of education for the purpose of life-long education thought,such as "learning to be human,learn to doing,learn to studying and learning to coexisf’.School education largely assume the responsibility to cultivate students "learning to be".However,we gain knowledge not once and for all,we need to learn to build a developing knowledge system to form life-long learning, which is "learning to be ".Initiative and cooperative learning is such a way to"learning to be".This requires schools teach students the skills of learning. Currently, our country’s New Curriculum Reform advocates "initiative,cooperative and exploration", the way of learning.Teacher now is not only the guider of students,but also the students’companion supporter,organizer of the learning activities, students’supporter,helper as well as the instructional researchers. But most arear of our country can not meet the requirement of cultivating students’life-long learning ability.Teachers measure their teaching ability by students’test score so that they dedicated to the force-feeding teaching and exercises to consolidate students’knowledge and ignore to develop their own scientific research level Students need the education that can develop their life-long learning ability, so teachers should reform their traditional teaching methods,enhance the level of teaching research and enrich their teaching practical knowledge.By this way, students can improve their study levels and teachers can achieve a new level of teaching.This instructional practice research is based on the initiative and cooperative learning style.During the instructional practice before this study, the author found that the model of "teaching after learning"is too brief and wide meaning for new teachers to use and grasp the main point of teaching.Therefore,the author take example by the method of pattern research,conclude the problems used to turn on daily instructional practice and make pointed and effective plans to slove those problems.This research primarily take constructivism theory and cooperative learning theory as the theoretical basis and practice with the methods that combine theory and practice,quantitative research and qualitative research. The author get to know the initial state of the students by pre-test questionnaires of initiative and cooperative learning ability,the difference of students’study between experimental group and control group by post-test of scores,the progress of experimental group’s study ability by the contrast of pre-test and post-test of initiative and cooperative learning ability questionnaires.The focus of this research is the design and modify in practice of the instructional pattern of initiative and cooperative learning.Results show that the instructional pattern of teaching after learning can improve students’ ability of initiative and cooperative,strengthen the ability of understanding,master and apply knowledge so that improve the learning effect. At the same time,instructional pattern can help the new teachers improve their teaching skills, control of the class better and form a complete system of teacher’s practical knowledge. In the current study, however, is still at the initial stage of research, there are many disadvantages in the generate instructional pattern. The research on instructional pattern of teaching after learning based on the initiative and cooperative learning style needs to be improved in the practice. It can provide guidance for the new age of high school biology teaching.
